Meet Meg Luger-Nikolai
Meg Luger-Nikolai is a labor lawyer, mother of three, and longtime community advocate running for the Minnesota House in District 64A. Since moving to the neighborhood in 2002, Meg has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with educators, workers, and families to defend the rights that make Saint Paul, and Minnesota, a great place to live.
For decades, she has fought for safer workplaces, stronger public schools, fair wages, and a democracy that serves people – not corporate interests. She’s knocked on hundreds of doors, walked countless picket lines, organized voters across the state, and helped elect leaders up and down the ballot.
Now she’s stepping forward to bring that same smart, passionate, and relentless energy to the Capitol because we have progress to protect and more work to do.
What Meg stands for
Our community deserves a representative who delivers for our schools, our workers, and our families. Meg is running to:
Build a health insurance system that puts people over profits
Fully fund Saint Paul Public Schools
Hold corporations and billionaires accountable
Invest state dollars here at home
Defend civil rights and democracy
Strengthen workers’ rights and expand the freedom to organize’
These shared values are what make Minnesota work for everyone – not just the wealthy or well-connected.
